1. HUNGARY: Budapest – Relaxation of restrictive measures

Government authorities announced on Thursday, April 30th, 2020, the relaxation of some restrictive measures concerning the operating hours of shops and restaurants.
They can now open without time restrictions.
As a reminder, lockdown regime is still in force and travel must be restricted to the satisfaction of essential needs, limited activity and professional reasons.

2. NIGERIA: Lagos – Relaxation of restrictive measures as of May 4th, 2020

Local authorities have announced a relaxation of restrictive measures regarding opening hours as of May 4th, 2020.
As a result, offices, businesses, shops and markets will be allowed to open between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. (local time) on certain days of the week in Lagos State.
However, the wearing of masks is mandatory for staff as well as merchants.

3. DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: Santo Domingo – Curfew and state of emergency extended

Authorities announced on April 28th, 2020, that the curfew and state of emergency regimes, currently in force throughout the country, have been extended until May 17th, 2020.
The current curfew regime, effective between 5 p.m. and 6 a.m. (local time), will remain in place.
All demonstrations and public meetings have been suspended.
The presidential elections, originally scheduled for May 17th, 2020, have been postponed to July 5th, 2020.

4. ALBANIA: Tirana – State of emergency extended to June 23rd, 2020

Local government has indicated that the enforcement of the ongoing national state of emergency regime has been extended until June 23rd, 2020.
The state of emergency regime will maintain restrictions related to COVID-19, including limitations on travel and public gatherings.
The country’s maritime and land borders remain closed.

5. MALDIVES: Male – Lockdown extended to May 14th, 2020

Authorities announced on April 29th, 2020, that the 24h containment regime, currently in place in the greater Male area, will be extended for 14 days from Thursday, April 30th, 2020.
The containment measures, due to expire on May 14th, 2020, will be in place in Male, Viligili and Hulhumale.

6. MOZAMBIQUE: Maputo – National emergency extended until May 30th, 2020

The President of Mozambique announced on April 29th, 2020, that the state of national emergency regime will remain in force until at least May 30th, 2020.
As a result, people receiving non-essential services have been asked not to leave their homes, except to purchase essential goods and health care.
Face masks in public are mandatory.

7. SLOVENIA: Ljubljana – Relaxation of restrictions from April 30th, 2020

Authorities announced on April 29th, 2020, that they would start to partially relax some restrictive measures from April 30th, 2020 onwards.
Citizens will be allowed to travel outside their local communities.
Prime Minister Janez Jansa also announced that the authorities will softer other measures in the coming weeks, including providing for the reopening of kindergartens and schools on May 18th, 2020.

8. THAILAND: Bangkok – Reduction of long-distance public buses

The government announced on April 29th, 2020, that public buses operating liaisons more than 300km away from the capital Bangkok and other major cities in the country have been suspended.
Services that were operational included Bangkok and Nakhon Sawan province, from Nakhon Ratchasima in the northeast, Chanthaburi in the east and Prachuap Khiri Khan in the south.

9. SAUDI ARABIA: Qatif – Lifting of lockdown as of April 30th, 2020

Authorities have announced the lifting of the lockdown regime imposed on the city of Qatif, Ach-Charqiya province, from Thursday, April 30th, 2020.
People will now be allowed to enter and leave the city.
As of April 29th, 2020, there are 21,402 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 157 fatalities.

10. BOLIVIA: La Paz – Extension of lockdown measures until May 10th, 2020

Authorities announced on April 29th, 2020, the extension of the containment measures until May 10th, 2020, in order to stop the spread of COVID-19.
However, a relaxation of the rules for home stays in areas of the country with low levels of the disease is planned to take effect from May 11th, 2020.
