Anti-Sisi demonstrations




On 20/09, dozens of demonstrators gathered in several cities throughout the country to ask for the dismissal of President Abdelfattah al-Sisi. The movement continued on 21/09 in Suez.

The gatherings were dispersed by the security forces and several protestors were arrested.

A new call for a mass protest on 27/09 appeared on social media. The authorities are intending to not show their concern.
